As a dealership, we can verify titles and liens, confirm identities, and verify payment using tools that private party buyers and sellers don't have access to. We use leading identity verification technology from Stripe to verify the identity of our buyers and sellers, and we use payment technology from Plaid and Finicity to verify payments.
Technology allows us to offer the KeySavvy guarantee: Buyers get a clear title and sellers get paid, every time. If we miss an undisclosed lien on a title, buyers get a full refund. If a buyer's payment fails, we still pay the seller (and we're responsible for collecting it from the buyer).
Few companies attempt to do what we do and, as a result, we've attracted the attention of a growing number of major media organizations and partners.
We publish articles to our blog that raise awareness of scams and educate consumers on how to avoid them. We also offer free tools that help buyers and sellers, even if they don't use KeySavvy (see our tool for what to do after selling a car).
